Difference between a birdwatching scope and a telescope

(1) Bird-watching scope: It is a monocular telescope for watching birds.
(2) Telescope: A telescope is an optical instrument that uses lenses or mirrors and other optical devices to observe distant objects.

(1) Bird-watching scope: It is mainly used to observe water birds, but can also be used to observe birds in open environments and forest birds in the woods.
(2) Telescope: It can magnify the small opening angle of distant objects at a certain magnification, so that they have a larger opening angle in the image space, making objects that cannot be seen or resolved clearly with the naked eye become clear and distinguishable.
3. Different maintenance methods
(1) Bird-watching scope: Two pieces of glass with different refractive index are glued together to obtain an achromatic effect. High-quality objective lenses will adopt a double-separated structure, which means that two lenses with different refractive index are appropriately separated. Compared with the double-cemented structure, two more variables (the curvature of the middle lens and the distance between the lenses) can be added to obtain better aberration correction effects.
(2) Telescope: Ensure that the telescope is stored in a ventilated, dry, and clean place to prevent mold growth. If possible, put desiccant around the telescope and replace it frequently.
