Structural performance of binoculars

Field binoculars and prism binoculars are smaller binoculars that can be held in the hand and used. They can magnify distant objects so that distant scenery can be seen more clearly through them. Unlike monocular telescopes, binocular telescopes can also give users a sense of depth, which is a perspective effect. This happens because when two human eyes view the same image from slightly different angles, a three-dimensional effect occurs.
For field binoculars or prism binoculars, increased magnification means a smaller field of view. Therefore, it is more difficult to determine the location of a target using a high-magnification telescope. Most people can steadily hold prism-type binoculars with 6x or 8x magnification to see distant objects clearly. If the magnification exceeds 10x, it is recommended to use a tripod. Watching the ever-changing sports competitions requires a wider field of view, so it is best to use a prism-type telescope with a magnification of 5 times or 6 times. When tracking bird flight and observing panoramic views, a 7x or 8x prism-type double telescope is better.
